Pray for Covington First Church of God in Covington, Kentucky

Covington First Church of God is located in Covington, Kentucky. It has been a landmark in the community since its establishment in the early 1900s. Although the faces within the congregation have changed over time, the church’s mission remains the same: to trust solely in the Holy Spirit as their overseer and the Bible as their statement of belief, always aiming to point people to Jesus. With its small congregation, the church fosters close relationships among its members. Each week they gather for Sunday School, Bible Study, and worship. Today, they are holding a special baptism service to celebrate those who have placed their faith in Jesus. Grateful for its rich history, Covington First Church of God looks forward to what God has in store for them in the future.

Pastor Terry Watson is leading a new series that focuses on the next steps and God’s direction for their church as they look to the future. Let’s keep them in our prayers as they set aside time to listen to the Holy Spirit and that they will be obedient to His prompting. Later this month, they will host a gospel concert and open the doors to the community. This presents an excellent opportunity for outreach and connection. Wonderful things are happening within the church family of Covington First Church of God.
