Today we are praying for First Baptist Church in Dillwyn, Virginia, and for Pastor Joshua Morgan as he leads this congregation with a heart for evangelism, faithfulness, and community impact.

Founded in 1903, First Baptist Church of Dillwyn is a landmark church in the town, known for its deep history and strong tradition. The surrounding community is largely blue-collar and culturally Christian, creating both opportunities and challenges for gospel ministry. This is Pastor Joshua’s first pastorate, and he is seeking to lead the church with humility, courage, and a renewed focus on reaching people for Christ.

The church is preparing for a major evangelism outreach on April 4, when they will host a community block party with activities for children, live music, preaching, and clear gospel presentations. Please pray that many people will attend, hearts will be open, and lives will be transformed by the power of the gospel.

Pastor Joshua and his wife have been married for nine years and have two children. Pray for their family as they serve together in ministry and seek to remain strong spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

• Pray that the church would experience greater financial stability and generosity.

• Pray for more opportunities for the church to serve their community and participate in missions beyond their town.

• Pray for Safwat Attia, a ministry partner of FBC Dillwyn, and his Arabic ministry in Staten Island.
