Nestled in the small community of Dexter, Kentucky, home to just over 130 residents, Dexter Pentecostal Church has faithfully shared the Gospel for more than half a century. Though small in size, this congregation has shown remarkable endurance and heart for ministry.

Pastor Elijah Balentine has led the church for over 45 years, continuing to serve despite serious health challenges. On days when his health prevents him from preaching, Associate Pastor Steve Phillips steps in to bring the Word of God, reflecting the unity and faithfulness that define this church family.

This year, Dexter Pentecostal Church began participating in Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse, preparing shoebox gifts for children around the world. They are praying that each box will help open hearts to the love of Jesus Christ.
