With a long legacy of ministry, the church continues to desire greater impact for Christ by reaching the people in their surrounding area. Their heart is to be a church that not only welcomes their community but actively brings the gospel to those around them.

Pastor Tim Atkinson has served the church with a love for discipleship and prayer. He and his wife have been married for 29 years, and together they have two daughters. As they lead Mt. Zion Baptist forward, they are committed to shaping a church that grows spiritually, engages intentionally, and reaches boldly.

One key emphasis on their hearts is simply this: reaching their community for Christ. They long to see lives transformed, families strengthened, and disciples multiplied.
